5 of the 17 roles Windows defines. One click sets them all.

Changing your cursor on Windows means the Mouse Properties dialog, a Pointers tab that has not been redesigned since XP, and setting seventeen roles one dropdown at a time — Normal Select, Help Select, Working In Background, all of them — before you can even see what you picked. I wanted to click a card and be done.

Cursors is a 184 KB WinForms executable that applies a whole scheme at once. Sixty packs ship with it across nine categories — 20 minimal, 10 neon, 9 cute, 5 retro, 5 pixel and gaming, 4 macOS-style, 4 animated, 3 glass, and the 4 Windows defaults — and another 500 community sets are pulled from rw-designer.com, sortable and searchable by name, style or creator. Cards preview live, animated packs play in place, and anything you drop on the window is installed: a .zip, an install.inf, a loose pile of .cur and .ani files, or a link pasted straight from the browser.

It needs no administrator rights, leaves no background process running, keeps no telemetry, and works offline once the community index is cached. The scheme survives a restart because it is written where Windows actually reads it, and `Cursors.exe --uninstall` puts every default back.
